I'd rather have $5.67 today with a stake in future divis and income growth rather than $7 today and all this profits locked out.
I think what you'll find is a lot of shareholders are probably under at a price of $7 so the deal certainly wouldn't cut it.
For the larger stockholders its ok as they would have got new shares in the acquiring companies - in our case its just the cash.
