You need at least shareholders who hold at least 5% of issued capital ( as a group) to be able to call a s249D meeting ( or a minimum of 100 shareholders) either will do.

But I caution you. I have been involved in several s249D Meetings.

Calling the meeting with the 5% is fairly easy. It getting at least 51% of votes to get up at the meeting

That is the difficult part

Can you get 51% of those who vote to get your resolution passed

It all takes time and money
