U.S. Justice Department opens criminal probe into whether traders are manipulating the price of Bitcoin
This is after about a year of information gathering from aggrieved traders since Bitfinex lost its banking and started pumping Tethers.
I strongly suspect the recent BTC price crash is people getting wind of this and getting out while the getting's good.
