I believe we have not seen the last of Harbour Energy. If they really want Santos and they cant put another bid in for 6 months, what stops them starting to accumulate shares now that the price has fallen to this level as was expected?
They would be picking up shares at 15-20% less than what they were prepared to pay for them in the offer.
I still think the 'action' around Santos has not ended as yet...
