The board acted what it considered to be in the best interest of shareholders, based on what it considers to be the value of the business.
The fact you have a different view to the board as to the business value is fine (although i note the obvious information asymmetry) but I would take the board's advice on this given the fact they, along with management, have executed a strategy that has seen STO recover from the depths.
