Make no mistake. Harbour Want Santos. They are playing the “You tell me” strategy. If they upped their bid to $7 they would be still taking a risk of refusal. This way they would know that they will probably get rejected so can then have a quiet talk to the people that matter and find out what number the board will support. Harbour then decide if they can afford The Santos. If by some unexpected scenario the board say yes to this offer it’s a bonus. Just all my thoughts so please DYOR.
