I'm no miner either Mick but I am reassured by the fact that we have 2 of the best Geos on board overseeing the drilling, we have the driller himself an experienced Geo and we have a management team that hates to spend a cent if its not called for.
I can only assume that if the first hole was a duster - they would not be spending good money drilling for more dust with all the other potential targets they still have to drill.
As they are targeting specific mineral clusters that have a very high probability of containing gold - an experienced geo would be able to make an in situ assessment of what is coming out of the ground without any need of assaying before deciding whether to go on or pull out.
In my opinion - the more they drill - the more it means they have an incentive to drill
The deeper they drill at Fosterville - the better it gets
Had Perseverance Mining drilled that an extra 100 meters so many years ago
we would not be having this discussion right now
