I wouldn't hold your breath Mornington - wrt monetisation there is nothing in the portfolio of interest to the main Australian producers in this lot - and in fact a lot of the tenure held were discard pieces of what majors previously held. Unless they drill and identify something not already known to exist in the tenements (e.g. deeper Moranbah coal measures under Rangals etc, a major area of fault uplift block etc) then there simply is little of interest.

In regard to "fast tracking", the fastest you can go to get State & Federal approvals in place for a greenfield project to allow construction is 3.5 - 4.0 years with the critical path being Federal Water Trigger approval which requires a groundwater model with a minimum 2 year dataset to calibrate the model - so the countdown will only start once BCB drop a network of nested or vibrating wire piezometers into the ground and start logging - this is a good few A$M worth. And they won't do that until they have gone through appropriate governance of studies to see if they have a viable project (at least 6-12 months for even the fastest and most cursory of studies fast tracks). Construction can easily take 6-12 months, longer for underground (2-3 years) if gas pre-drainage and drifts are required. So the fast track is of order 4.5 to 6.0 years away ... and that assumes no troubles or delay in obtaining finance, JV partners etc.
