brily, just wondering. Your post above suggest you have a moral issue with the legal fraternity. If that is the point you wish to make then I have no problem with that, per se.

It does raise a couple of questions though.

    * Why did you enter the legal profession? You have previously mentioned that you were a young lawyer (the tense suggest once was but no longer). That seems at odds with what you say.

    * Why invest in an industry that based on your comments would suggest is morally corrupt?

There are numerous investing opportunities. It would seem logical to by-pass SGH and have never given it a second glance based on what you post now.

Question. Would you be posting the same comments if the SP never declined and the company went from strength to strength giving you a handsome return?

    If your honest answer is:
"no, I would be congratulating myself and others in a successful investment."

That answer would bring into question what informs moral judgements. Is it closely tied to how well one is doing financially? If things are going well who cares about others, if things at are not going well lets look for someone or something to blame!

No doubt that will ruffle your feathers, I understand that. However, if in a quite moment it makes you think more broadly about issues and your own insecurities then I will have done you a favour.
