From the recent announcement re Tambina:

The geology team took ten samples from across both locations (20kg bags) and then 5kg was sluiced to produce pan concentrates that were then closely analysed. The in-pan concentrates revealed the presence of sulphides as well as visible gold particles ranging from fine to ≤ 1mm and occasional grain ≤ 3mm (Figure 2). The samples are being dispatched for further gold analyses.

Any idea how long the further analysis may take?

With the discovery of fine gold from the in-pan concentrates and nuggets, the geology team believes there is sufficient anecdotal evidence to confirm an in-situ formation rather than one transported in. Consequently, this means gold mineralisation could be more extensive than initial expectations. In turn, this is the first positive concrete step, albeit small, towards re-commencing small scale mining operations.

What’s the best sampling method to determine potential gold grades (for a conglomerate deposit)? We know from ARV’s experience that drilling isn’t a particularly effective method.
