WPL bought 3.65 Tcf from Exxon for USD 444 mil cash upfront & 300mil on FID.
Overall they hold 1125 mmboe (6.4 Tcf net out of 9.2 Tcf gross) in Scarborough. Total upfront cash paid is USD 696mil to BHP & Exxon.
They've spent decent amounts over the last few years on Acquisitions to supplement their 2C Resource & 2P Reserve inventory (generally termed as reserve/resource replacements).
1) USD 858mil on Apache's 2C-2632 mmboe in Canada
2) USD2725 mil on Apache's 2P 253.2 mmboe JB & Wheatst'n
3) USD 54mil on Apache's 2P-9.8 mmbbls at balnaves (bad choice, field was cactus after 2.3 mmbbls flow)
4) USD 446 on ConocoPhillips 2C- 196 mmbbls SNE (up in limbo over PE rights)
5) USD 250mil for BHP's Scarb'gh, Thebe & Jupiter interest of 2C- 485 mmboe
6) USD 444mil for Exxon's Scarb'gh interest of 2C - 640 mmboe
They didnt buy Hess's Equus field as a backfill to Pluto. Western Gas bought the 2 Tcf field in November last year.
With oil price moving up I think WPL should have a decent Half yearly as the cash from Whtst'n flows in.
