Global X's newly implemented change is to track the Solactive Global Uranium & Nuclear Components Total Return Index. Up until mid-March 2018 Global X has been tracking the Solactive Global Uranium Total Return Index. These are clearly different indexes and contrary to what you say it is a sudden index change, having only just started over these past few weeks.

Each index is very different and, as far as my calculations go, once this transition is complete Global X will no longer be in the list of top 3 or 4 shareholders of PEN shares .
