    Landi....u disappoint me... I am a bit of a devils advocate! Love a debate!

    With respect to high costs in upmarket beef , I don’t really know; but the profits seem meagre...the prices they charge are big, and I have seen several photos in Rural Press when the division has one awards...Seen at least 8 smiling faces which likely cost the company $ 160 000 per year average....perhaps more if they have cars, phones etc

    Margins in feedlots....well it is a fact about slim margins...may work a bit better with Wyagu, but I am sure that there are so many decisions that need to be made ...and often made quickly, but also good bold decisions...I think family operators would be better.

    Also, despite the big Gillard hickup, the company is well placed to capitalise on generally good live export prices...I am not sure that they could or should go that way entirely though, because of political risk, and the sheer numbers they have at hand.
