We have ~4 more days to go till drill bit reaches 1000m assuming no mid-drill aquifer tests. Late next week expect an ann. Frankly, I'm surprised not more people are watching reedy as we will be the third company to ever drill 1000m in a dissolved mineral exploration hole in Nevada - after Albemarle and Pure Energy. Results not far away either. If folks could inflate ASN up to >100mil mc fully diluted surely we will see some bigger numbers soon?
Obviously, the share price performance has been underwhelming but I nevertheless maintain there is value to be had judging by the MT surveys, which - btw - is another thing I'm surprised more people aren't appreciating. I am a numbers type of guy and to me, our ~0.2 ohm-meter implies at least 150-200ppm lithium (given the likely low impurities this can actually be very economic btw). We will see in a months time whether my throw is in the right direction or not.
Although the next drill site is not yet confirmed due to the constantly changing factors around sites (weather, rig access etc), I too am hoping for Big Smokey South. I feel like Columbus Marsh is out flagship project just because it was selected to be drilled first, but the large volume of potential lithium brine makes BSS (looking from mt survey) makes it look very interesting too. Massive <1 ohm-m mass again. I hope management releases a more defined map soon with scales down to 0.1 ohm-m so we can better appreciate the project.
Would be nice to have a core at each of our two best looking projects.
Another thing I discovered while flipping through our green colored website - Edward Creek. Of course, everyone knows we have this project but given the energy metal boom, I noticed something interesting. Excerpts below:
"Maximum uranium assay was 412 ppm for a "grab" sample from 30-35 cm depth in the bottom of a shallow pit within the strongly anomalous linear zone identified in the ground spectrometer survey data."
So we have uranium but we already knew that. But this:
Other results from the Victory prospect include elevated copper-uranium in weathered metamorphic rock (1320 ppm Cu, 60.3 ppm U, 1250 ppm Co, 361 ppm Zn, 7.87 % Mn)
Interesting cobalt assays we have at Victory. 1250ppm is by no means low for common cobalt mineralizations - I am curious whether this could be explored further down the track (after lithium brine in Nevada). Edward Creek is in the Gawler Craton which is where Oz Minerals has recently started focussing exploration on. Getting new attention in our area is always a good sign. Maybe they have sniffed some value in this base metals rich province.
Looks like we are shaping up to be a diversified energy metals explorer lol. One with lithium, cobalt, and uranium. Plus some magnetite in the back seat.
Hope Geof jumps on the megaphone and spreads the word once we get closer to end of drilling and analysis.
