I have only just had time to look over the company presentation and I am very impressed, firstly with the quality of the slides and ease of understanding throughout the presentation, it felt and looked very professional compared to previous announcements!
There are a few things I would like to comment on as I think this presentation has some big hints for the future of OOK which have been completely missed by most people in the market.
Slide 4: Ookami is building “a portfolio of synergistic companies that disrupt data and advertising markets, investment platforms, software as a service (SaaS) and digital asset applications” (Also a hint of further acquisitions etc with a ‘new opportunities’ symbol in the picture) What does this mean? This is huge! Some companies listed on the ASX are only aiming to enter one of these fields not to create an ecosystem which can reach into and dramatically change all of them!
Slide 5: This slide is worth a million dollars, or hopefully many many many multiples of that. If you can’t understand what they are trying to do from this slide you should be giving your money to a fund manager to look after it... (Anyway just in case you can’t work it out) What does it all mean? Akela is central to everything they are trying to do!!! Think about trying to invest in an IPO recently. Most likely you had to fill out that crappy paper form and send it off in the mail and then wait weeks on end not knowing if your bid was successful or not. Akela is essentially creating a version of ‘on market book builds’ which will put it to shame. The versatility of what Akela will be able to do will be amazing. Essentially any old investor will be able to invest their money into anything they like (ICO’s, IPO’s, private IPO’s which were previously reserved for ‘special’ investors and very very excitingly INTERNATIONAL MARKETS!!!) all from the one place. Then on top of this they will be able to find users for Akela from the brontech platform which if it takes off could have 100,000’s of users. There are so many other little intricacies they can get involved in also (blockchain advisory, marketing etc) but I don’t have time to spell out this slide anymore than I already have, if you are still struggling to follow I suggest you don’t even invest in stocks at all, put your money under your mattress it will be safer there.
Slide 8: This slide once again shouldn’t need an explanation it is so nicely designed. Follow the flow chart... Essentially, Brontech and Akela take in investors and send them on a magical journey which ends with them having the ability to invest in all kinds of cool things that would not be possible/easy currently.
Slide 9: Rewards for investing...yes please! I don’t need to say anything else.
Slide 11: Bron tokens will be one of the first cryto tokens to secure AFSL and this “allows mobile app users to buy goods from stores not just in Australia, but GLOBALLY once the expansion rolls out. I’m getting tired, so no more explanations for those of you who can’t work out what that means...
Slide 13: Use digital currency to buy stocks online without converting to fiat. What does this mean? “The rise in digital asset values has created a new investor class that is technologically sophisticated and seeks diversification in investment and asset holdings in turn this brings new investors to the platform” I think this is what so many people are missing and it’s a shame because this is beyond GIGANTIC. Australia and particular older Australians are very slow to catch onto technological trends so I can forgive people for not picking up on this. Essentially going forward, the way people invest and products they want to invest in are no longer Telstra and the big banks, this opens the door for people like myself and my entire generation to easily trade the things we want to trade from one platform not across multiple platforms. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO OTHER PLATFORM THAT I KNOW OF IN AUSTRALIA/MAYBE THE WORLD? THAT IS DOING THIS!!
Slide 14: In line with the great presentation this is a great summary of everything they have addressed. What does this mean? As I said in my comment on slide 4, look at how many fields OOK are entering with their ecosystem compared to market peers (in particular one starting with D and ending with C). Now do a calculation of the difference between our EV and their EV and you can come to the conclusion that one of the companies is stupidly overpriced and one is not. Hopefully you can work out which one is which.
It absolutely baffles me how this announcement slipped through the market with no one paying any attention to it. I have held/accumulated for over 2 years now and will be topping up even more come next week after reading this presentation. This is a game changer.
This is all my opinion and not financial advice.
