This exactly illustrates my point a previous post about the crazy way that listed companies are valued – with the share price falling to 27 cents with only 14 shares having traded – this in turn means that on this one trade of 14 shares worth $3.78 the share price fell by $0.01 to $0.27 which in turn means that $3,735,000 was wiped off our market cap for that fleeting moment.

Since that time the share price has risen by 1.5 cents to $0.285 on a trading volume of 1.18 million shares which in turn adds $5,602,500 to our market cap.

This is the madness of the markets and one can easily see how those trading the volatility can dribble small trades into the market to greatly effect the share price before hedging their bets on future market movement.
