What if you isolated that risk to management simply being able to reach financial close on an executed binding agreement?
What if you took measures to mitigate this risk, by ensuring that the announcement stated it was binding, you knew a deposit had been paid and you found out it was notarised and all as required in Indonesia.
What if, despite these assurances by way of updates, GMC kept stating that receipt of funds was imminent from Pak Marthen, but slowly started transitioning to there are other interested parties.
Then after being led on for 6 months, including during Christmas, you found out none of the above occurred and your investment dropped 85% upon resumption of trading.
Surely, you would feel obligated to point out the risks of investing in this stock to the fellow investment community.
I won't ever touch GMC again but I will continue to do in depth research as though I did own it, for the simple fact, that I may be able to save someone else an unnecessary loss of capital.
I have still yet to see or yet to hear of a milestone that has actually been delivered in a timely manner by GMC.
