The point of the post was not to question or have an opinion on companies buying directly from the mines. Companies buying direct maybe the answer to their own supply problems, but it could be expected that they will buy much cheaper by going directly to the miners.


The post was to question the Headline of the link supplied by rdncoic…….


To Quote the Headline – “Bottleneck: Apple buys its own cobalt mine (Stefan Muller)” Author: Stefan Muller….

Nowhere can I find any supportive information that Apple has bought its own mine. There is a lot about buying direct from mines.

Therefor as previously stated….

Stefan is wrong or there is a Google translate problem or Stefan has been misquoted or did someone do a cut and paste on the headline?
