Mine life extension

From an article in the Murray Valley Standard (regarding HGO employing staff after a recent fire at Thomas Food International):
{Hillgrove Resources General Manager Lachlan Wallace said the company looked for reliable locals interested in work at the mine with positions offered from plant operators to blast crew members.
“Hillgrove will provide necessary skills training for all of the roles on site,” he said.
“Workers will be hired under standard mining conditions, which include a two week on, one week off roster covering two 12 hour shifts.
“These are permanent positions. The existing surface mining operations will be completed in approximately two years and we are currently reviewing underground development potential which may extend mine life.}

The "Expert's Report" assumed all mining would be completed in 2018. I like the sound of two years of surface mining operations. The article is dated February 9. 2018
