What better incentive for senior employees than to have financial incentives related to the success of the company? If any large listed ASX company announced that it was going to achieve a particular goal by date XYZ, and failed to notify the market as soon as it knew it was not going to meet that date, the ASX and ATSIC would be all over them. CCE, on the other hand, announces it is building a solar power plant to be completed by the end of 2017, and doesn't notify the market that it hasn't even turned a sod by the end of 2017. If that's not in breach of ASX continuous disclosure rules I don't know what is.

That is a very accurate summation of the facts Dyeman.
Some people have no idea. Employees work for Shareholders via a Company vehicle. If a company is not successful financially employees get sacked by the CEO & Directors, and Directors get sacked by Shareholders in order to try and turn a Company's fortunes around.
If a Company is bankrupted by non performance then all employees and directors have no jobs , and shareholders lose their capital invested.
And some individuals say that employees come first -- yeah right ?
If I had an employee with that attitude they would not last very long.
Goes without saying that customers come first alongside shareholders.
