No Luck On The Punt, page-8

The Australian and Daily Telegraph websites currently both have news items where John McGrath describes the Sydney Morning Herald story as "rubbish" and that he has sent a memo to all staff along those lines.

I haven't been able to read those full articles because I am not a subscriber to them and they have a paywall. It is too late to appear in the Weekend Australian physical newspaper. It may appear on Monday.

I have read the Sydney Morning Herald story and it says that the bookmaker is owed $16.3 million by one "John Wilson". I have no idea how "John Wilson" becomes "John McGrath".
