I am the opposite. Drilling deep porphyry targets in a small company is a fools paradise. NML is far better off drilling and spending their money on the gold near stawell because there is a mill and a tailings facility nearby. There is no history of porphyry targets being developed in Victoria. Most porphyry's never get developed because they cost a fortune and they are characterized by low grade - bulk tonne operations which require massive amounts of energy.
The mining investment world is littered with small companies blowing themselves up drilling these things.
as a nml shareholder I think we are far better off with the gold at Stawell/Ararat plus the tandarra asset.
I can't see Kirkland Lake on the Stavely register.
