Mr. Hongliang Chen has been the President of BAIC Motor Corporation Limited since March 7, 2017 and has been its Executive Director since June 2017. Mr. Chen served as Vice President of BAIC Motor Corporation Limited from March 22, 2013 to March 7, 2017. Mr. Chen has more than 20 years of experience in the automobile industry. He has held various positions from January 1996 to September 2008, including the Deputy Director of the chassis plant (mainly responsible for the technical quality system), Head of the procurement department, director of the assembly plant and deputy general manager of NAVECO Ltd. He was the vice Secretary of the party committee of NAVECO Ltd. from September 2008 to February 2009; the deputy general manager of passenger vehicle department of BAIC Holding and Vice President of the Head office of operation and production, Chief Project Director, General Manager and Secretary of the party committee of Zhuzhou branch from February 2009 to January 2014; and Vice President of the Company, Senior Executive Vice President and the Secretary of the party committee of Beijing Benz from January 2014 to March 2017. Mr. Chen holds a Master's Degree in engineering and is a researcher-level senior engineer.
