Giralia Resources (ASX:GIR) reports that at Beebyn-Weld Range iron ore project (Giralia 100pc) final results include 20m at 57.1pc Fe. Initial JORC resource estimation is in progress for the western half of Giralia's 6 kms-long Weld Range segment with results anticipated in early December.
At Earaheedy (Giralia 100pc) reconnaissance RC drilling program has been completed. Holes at mostly 400 metre spacings along existing vehicle track confirm widespread hematitic material, including thick detrital scree deposits and pisolitic iron rich gravels grading up to 57.2pc Fe, with significant tonnage potential around perimeter of hills, and scope for upgrade by screening. Direct drill testing of hills with outcropping high-grade hematite iron ore mineralisation planned for next drill phase at Earaheedy.
At Western Creek (Giralia 100pc) direct extensions to BHP's Silver Knight iron ore deposit (10 km west of Newman) have been identified, with outcropping high-grade Marra Mamba iron ore mineralisation exposed on Giralia's ground, with grades to 63.5pc Fe.
Recently released results from adjoining BHP operated mining lease include intersections of 129 metres at 59.6pc Fe, and 108 metres at 61.5pc Fe close (less than 200 metres) north of the boundary of Giralia's tenement."" end of copy
