Just Google “Newcrest Topacio Gold”

According to this article they withdrew in August of last year.
Figure 4 in the Jan 2018 company announcement still shows Newcrest as (“earning”). I wonder who is right? If the article is correct and Newcrest has pulled out then Fig 4 is materially misleading.
I’d be ringing the company to clarify before investing on the basis Newcrest is still earning.
You still have B2gold in the country and Condor Gold plc plus what looks to be a central/South American outfit if you can believe the information on that same figure.
It’s not just the country I don’t like, it’s how the Vendors seem to have the company on the hook for money and haven’t given them much time on the option extension. From my quick reading of the announcements I would not trust these Vendors as far as I could throw them. Wouldn’t put it past them to tap OVL out for all they can, then go hawking the project onto B2gold or the next guy.
Project could be OK but you need to look at all the risks IMO. Esh
