OK, I will accept your explanation, I may have been too quick to judge?

I do see some here trying to talk this down, which is in my opinion a contrary indicator, APA have always traded lower then higher depending on where we are at WRT to dividends.
APA continue to pay good dividends and I believe they will continue to pay them and at a higher rate in the future when some of the assets that they have recently purchased kick in, there was talk about the ACCC changing a few things? the way I see it is that they already pay their dues and besides that the Government needs them to continue what they do if they want the gas as a back up for the coal fired power stations, they way I see it is that they are going to be heading up in the near future not down, irrespective of what some are trying to tell us.

I bought APA at the float for $2, I reinvested my dividends for many years, I then sold one quarter of my holding for a nice profit, the rest are now free carried and the dividends now pay for my accountants, the people who do my Audits and the Taxman.

I also had one other investment that paid off after eight years, I also did quite well with them.

I guess I have been lucky to some extent, but I do think research helps in that area, the more I do the luckier I get.
