Since facts are being introduced into this discussion, you have been a bit parsimonious in your references to the company announcement. It is voluntarily suspended pending news of an acquisition and a response to an ASX query letter. Then when you go into the actual letter from the company to the ASX requesting the suspension, they dwell far, far more on needing time to deal with the ASX query than they do about finalising acquisition news.

They indicated 2 days requirement. It is now approaching 1 month. And in the meantime, nothing but deafening silence.

It is not a good look. Worse, it is a bad look. And while I agree that the conspiracy theories are fanciful and unsubstantiated - they have been given fair license by the company's approach to keeping the market informed. The unsubstantiated rationale provided by some in defence of the company (or as counter balance to the conspiracy theories) hold no merit. IMO.
