Thanks datamachine for posting that list - I note the monster Shenhua at the top. Are you aware of their history of buying the drilled out Watermark coal orebody near Gunnedah from the NSW Govt ~2008 for several hundred $Million? In subsequent years Shenhua kept faith with that deal and would have blown that out to ~ a lazy $Bill buying farms, tidying up exploration loose ends and endless legal battles for the rights to mine. A note for those not familiar with NSW politics - the Shenhua purchase in 2008 was at the same time ALP Resources Minister Ian McDonald was corruptly granting 3 or 4 coal EL's to mates including Eddie Obeid.
Here we are 9 years and counting - will Shenhua ever mine and sell a ton of the coal they paid NSW Govt so much for? I have a stack of refs on file but keeping this short.
