I went to Footscray Market during the week to buy a Hiramasa Kingfish. Footscray Market is listed as a place to buy the fish on the CSS website. I bought there about two years ago with no problem.
This week, no sign of any Kingfish. A stallholder told me they turn up spasmodically so you have to visit often to get one.
I hope they can get better distribution going. No good letting sales slip by then later need to sell off bulk fish for freezing.
