Yes they have to go with all these completion costs as they been unable to get any geophysical wireline log data.
It is a very encouraging development that they are running in a completion string, in actual fact they need to as all that lost mud could compromise the permeability of the limestone. If the well is completed then carrying out fracting or acid jobs is possible. An open hole DST is a sub-optimal method.
The key is just how big and we can only find that out be testing and then looking at the pressure build up once a period of testing, then you should be able to work out the possible gas deliverability and extent of the gas zone contributing to your gas flow. I would expect flow testing to take at least 3 or 4 days.
