Existing powder manufacturers extending, Burra Foods Gippsland have just announced $24.5m extension to their manufacturing facility to produce Infant Formula.

The expansion works of all IF manufacturers is on the rise. How is a small processor yet to enter the industry going to survive and compete with those with the expertise and up and running facilities. Most importantly where is the milk going to come from. Guaranteed supply is a necessity as it is 8-10 litres of milk for every 1kg of powder depending on solids.

Scary times ahead if relying on IF into China for growth of the company.
