The buy back starts tomorroe. Regardless of what we feel about the buy back, I hope the Directors are fair dinkum about it.
I get annoyed when companies announce these and then buy token amounts for a period and then withdraw.
If they are serious about "capital management" - and buy back is their strategy - then they should buy serious numbers so long as the NTA discount is there. I trust the independent directors will ensure this as the fund managers are naturally conflicted.
