Let's face it.
Dog or Fox. The nature of any animal is to survive and to protect self interest. On one hand , you have a dog management which nearly sinks the ship. On the other, you have Michael Kum, a savvy and cagey investor who is as crafty as a fox. It was reported he did propose a recapitalization plan that pretty much dilute all the other investors and take over the entire company next to nothing at the bottom of the cycle.
After weighing both options, I must say I would rather side with the dog than the fox. You rather be in the company of stupid dog than cunning old fox.
At the very least, with minor dilution, all shareholders have a fighting chance to participate in potential recovery. Choosing the other path, you are handing over your beloved company on platter to the fox who has been drooling over it.
