Ann: Annual Report to shareholders, page-2

The Ann Report issued Fri 27 ,
1) just 14 days after the Chair resigned ( 13 Oct ) w/o any advice to shareholders as to why ? [It could be noted his role as a Drector at "another CGA LIC" ( CIE ) appears to have also ceased as quietly after last Friday trading ]
Did he circa 13 th learn of the plan for CGA to assign its CTN IMA to NAOS? And was opposed? Market informed 7 days later the assignment was a done deal( 20 Oct ). How much Due Diligence was done in 7 days? By anyone ? Or just waived through?
2) First 5 serious pages incl Mr Kerr's Chairman's letter, 3 pages from Mr Boubouras' CIO Report, Mr Laister's Portfolio Manager's Commentary
All gone from the CTN perspective! Relevant?
At least Mr Laister ended on such a positive note? " We maintain a positive outlook, and look forward to improved performance in FY 18"
3). No mention on p49 that the amount to be paid to OC Funds Management to "walk away after outperforming CGA" was over $1 m from CTN shareholders over the next 5 years! Not trying to hide it?
Also, on that page, CGA is reported to have received $2,431,618 in fees for the year. Odd as 125 bp on CGA funds averaging 160m to 170 m, would equal for one year " close to $2m". Maybe it was 5 qtrs? Helping cash flow somewhere?
4). P53. The crowning query. Note 27 Subsequent Events. "....,no other matter or circumstance .... has significantly affected or may significantly affect ..."
Surely the announcements 7 days earlier than this release met all of " (a), (b), and (c)" !

At least a 1 page insert could have been inserted in Ann Report package inside 7 days? to cover Loss of Chair, CGA purporting to sell its IMA, the new IMA with 10 years guaranteed - and payments after that if terminated maybe for any reason, a totally new area of investment for approx 7000 shareholders. Even the move of AGM to Sydney, for those really interested retirees who have been loyal to the company for years
And, really, the AGM could have been delayed with a short waiver from ASX in these totally unusual circumstances
