Ok I've learned over the years that a good investor considers all the possibilities including the unlikely ones and those that are unpopular. So here goes:
The deal was rejected and MQG are breathing a sigh of relief because they know more than we do. Competition and new fed regs have made our gas less profitable. They are getting out 100% out - at a loss but they are big enough to not care too much about that. They have a lot more shares to sell and they may not find support for a while yet.
I'm pretty sure thats wrong but it is possible. Like I said consider every possibility.
