The only authority available to do some forensics on this is probably ASIC. They would be authorised to find out exactly where the money comes from and what has been negotiated.
AHF is probably such a small concern for ASIC (like a pimple on a baby's backside) and if ASIC sit on it long enough it will go away.
Most certainly disconcerting
