@dannyleb. re my link to Mt Isa etc, I am not drawing any such conclusion. All that I did in fact was google some words with some Boolean assistance and found the Ken Maiden paper. Blythefan's 'epigenetic' comment aided me in finding it.

These words, especially the ones that I have 'bolded, seemed to fit, partly anyway:

ƒ#Some copper deposits stratabound, others transgressive ƒ
    #Copper in quartz-carbonate veins & breccia zones ƒ
#Deposits terminate against Basement Fault ƒCopper associated with silica-dolomite alteration
ƒ$Highest ore grades (+3% Cu) associated with brecciated & silicified rocks adjacent to controlling faults ƒ#Copper overprints cleavage

I'll read more about it somewhere. I am sure that there would be many papers on the subject.

I had previously googled 'orogenic etc' after finding the comments in the JORC Table and found this:http://www.ga.gov.au/data-pubs/data...or-a-high-tech-world/orogenic-mineral-systems. I have read this too.

@Blythefan. Thanks for your input on this. I see that the company has been saying for a while now that the mineralisation appears to be structurally controlled. That statement appeared again in yest's Preso, so that suggests to me that this has been a factor in its exploration strategy.

Below is Fig 3 from yest's report. I have yellow highlighted the part that has me somewhat intrigued. This is new information I believe.

Are there 2 distinct mineralised systems here? - one vms and the other orogenic/epigenetic? The JORC statement supports that as being a possibility imo, but that's a wild guess on my part.

Over to you B! Can you exclude categorically vms?
