As the saying goes, "killing two birds with one stone" is better than achieving one and if you can do it without breaking the ground rules (keeping in mind; circle of competence, moat and managerial excellence) its indeed satisfying. I am referring to Berkshire Hathaway (brk.b in particular). This business is a scream at any price for the long term investor, but buying on weakness and at a time of a strong aud is even better. brk.b closed 30c shy of the $4,000.00 mark. Taking into account currency (cash component) and quality (brk stock) simply puting it,, investing cannot be served any easier to one. Taking advantage of the fearful environment to buy *quality* cheaply should be ruthlessly pounced on. Knowing when to, and not being influenced is difficult but essential.
