Filling in a JORC table and commenting on social media are very different things. If the latter warranted disclosure of personal details then we wouldn't all have cool names. But I fail to see your point. Why do you think there is a difference between someone who is trained and currently works in the industry vs. someone who isn't trained or has retired?

For the record, I am currently working as a geologist for one of the majors with experience in both exploration and mining.

As I've said before, I judge projects on their geological merit and the work programs the companies conduct. SEG currently tick both those boxes for me.
