KML has not been able to achieve 68% because the cost of upgrading from 65.3% to 68% is too cost prohibitive.

From memory the engineering design was a problem as well as the hardness of the rock for which they designed the plant.

The test rock which was selected in the original design stages was not as hard as the rock they have encountered.

Therefore there is more maintenance due to repairs to machinery.

I don't think it will ever get to 68%. But I await to be surprised.
