I just find that soo expensive so it must come down to how much you use. My total power bill per year is about 850 -900 (i am with Lumo of which I get like 33% off my total bill - not just usage). Of that I would estimate that my connection charge per year is $300. So for me to wait probably like 18 years for payback is crazy.. especially considering if you have any faults with the systems after 10 years could cost hundreds if not more to fix. Do you still need to pay for the grid connection or can the feedback of electricity offset this charge? What is your estimated payback as I know some peope who have pools that Spend over $1000/qtr on electricity.
