Hi Cmart,
"I'd like to see a greater diversity in income through more acquisitions and a more diverse client base."
What sort of acquisitions are you looking for to diversify income and what expectations do you have around the diversity of their client base?
The Mission Providence acquisition has been done to diversify their income from the MHS and Icare (NSW Workers Comp- a $350 m pa scheme) work which are their two main income streams. Given, its reliant on Government again but its not rehab services. It also sets them up to get into Disability Employment Services, which is a $800m pa market.
Are you looking for further diversification away from Return to Work? There is the NDIS but again a Govt scheme- options for doing case work and provision of services.
Other options are a greater push into workplace health, safety & wellbeing- training, education and inspection. I suspect that would be a tough slog.
Working with the Life insurers/Super Funds on pro-active management of TPD claims is another market, albeit much smaller at this point in time.
Interested in your thoughts.
With respect to the recent share price weakness, I would suspect that this is one of the sub-underwriters of the Retail Entitlement Offer or an entity/individual who was allocated too many Top Up ('over's) shares in the Offer selling down excess stock. I expect this to wash through in due course.
