Psychology of the gap...as really in real life does it matter.....ie on value of a stock....no it doesn't AT ALL but Technical analysis tells us it matters....how silly and self fulfilling it becomes....but yet we all have to respect it because that is what we know the market respects...which is some aspect of TA which is flawed from a psychology perspective but yet we have to respect it.
