Not necessarily.
They do not have to answer calls.
I have held many a company that does not respond to shareholders calls.
I usually do not hold long if that is the case unless for other good reasons but quite often I will ring first to test them. Now and then, I may be asked if I am a shareholder during the call.
Jeff did ask but I can imagine the amount of calls he would be receiving in regards to this.
It can also be a case of requiring clarification before a further investment increase.
