Engineer geeks like me never laughed at the stories we were inspired by them and dreamed of what could be.
I hope Elon Musk succeeds in making 500,000 electric cars per annum but electric cars effectively run on natural gas. It would a tremendous feat to ramp from 50,000 to 500,000 in a year but still only a tiny fraction of the new cars produced which themselves represent 25% of oil demand.
Which continues to grow in line with global GDP as supply declines due to depletion.
