GOLDSEARCH (GSE) expects to dig up two "high-priority" tenements for its East Musgrave joint venture project with BHP Billiton and Independence Group. The tenements are located within freehold Aboriginal land in the Musgrave region of South Australia but Goldsearch says it has executed Exploration Deeds with custodians Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara. Once the tenements are granted, exploration work can begin but Goldsearch has already completed initial work program clearance requirements. Goldsearch is looking for nickel, copper and platinum group mineralisation similar to BHP's Nebo-Babel project in the West Australian portion of the Musgrave block. BHP can earn a 65 per cent interest in the joint venture project which covers 16,000sqkm if it funds $25million worth of exploration work
