3D printing on demand is very cool I agree. Was surprised to see management dropping the manufacturing of printers and the education solution as they now lose key differentiators and enter an already populated market place for 3D printing on demand. there are already a number of firms offering similar services locally. Even Officeworks offer a similar service, including miniature 3D printed replicas. if it proves profitable for them at their centralized hub in melbourne ,whats stopping them from deploying it across their retail chain? hope these guys know what they're doing..
