Perhaps @mickeebee should look at FMG back in Jan/Feb 2016. FMG was wallowing in debt and was high cost in a falling commodity price market and was doomed to fail in the eyes of most. FMG dug their heels in, cut costs to the bone and payed down debt and look at it now, a classic turnaround if ever there was one. Turnaround's do happen and Santos are working hard to ensure they could be next by using the same disciplines of cost and debt reduction.
