Landcruisers are pretty stout but the bigger miners are weary of using them as they do not have the safety ratings of the likes of rangers , hiluxes ,
I had a ranger at the geysers power stations in California that were on top of a mountain the ranger wore the front breaks out in about 2 months even though was using special ceramic brake pads the brakes would fade out at the bottom of the mountain if traveled to fast down , even though the bed was empty , and the pickup had no add on equipment not even 4WD.

The polymer brake should have a lot more applications than the more expensive sibs brakes maybe an oil cooler transmission type radiator on a heavier rear axle set up would help ie a Landcruiser rear axle instead of a hilux axle on a hilux ?
