Interesting.
This company has a lot of similarities to an NZ aged care service provider - Ryman Healthcare. The market's in long term growth mode on both sides of the Tasman and Ryman has done extremely well in NZ through bolt-on acquisitions driving industry consolidation and a bit of land banking. I sense Aevum is emulating elements of Ryman's strategy in the fragmented local market.
Interesting also that one of the NZ instos has increased its stake in AVE. Fisher Funds has accumulated 1.2m shares over the past six weeks to take their stake to 7.22%. Carmel Fisher's a smart operator and made a poultice of money from RYM...
